CARROT-BEANS THORAN




INGREDIENTS

Carrot and Beans - 1 cup each finely chopped
coconut - 1/2 cup grated
onion - 1 finely chopped
garlic pods - 1 nos
mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
green chillies - 2 to 4 (according to your taste)
curry leaves
salt
oil

METHOD
Chop carrots and beans,keep aside.Heat oil in a pan splutter mustard seeds,add curry leaves,sliced green chillies and crushed garlic pod.Add chopped onions fry for 2 minutes.Add beans and carrot,sprinkle 1 tbsp water cover and cook unlit its half done..add grated coconut mixture and salt.Keep the pan covered ,cook on a low flame for 5 minutes.Stir in between so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. serve hot.
