PRAWN MANCHURIAN



INGREDIENTS
Prawns -250 gms
FOR THE BATTER:
All-purpose Flour – 5 Tbsp
Corn Starch – 3 Tbsp
Salt – to taste
Water – 1/4 cup 
FOR THE SAUCE:
Onion – 1 small, chopped finely
Green Chilies – 2
Garlic – 3 cloves, chopped finely
Ketchup – 2 Tbsp
Red Chili Sauce – 2 Tbsp or to taste
Soy Sauce – 4 tsp
Vinegar – 2 tsp
Water – 2 Tbsp
Corn Starch – 1 tsp
Green Onions – cut  for garnishing
METHOD
Heat Oil in a  pan.Add Onions, Green Chilies and Garlic and saute. Add Ketchup ,Red Chili Sauce, Soy Sauce and Vinegar mix well and cook . Mix 1 tsp Corn Starch mixed  with 2 Tbsp Water and add it to the pan. Cook for few minutes until sauce starts to thicken.Keep sauce aside. To make batter, add All-purpose flour, Corn Starch, Salt and Water to a small bowl. Mix until there are no lumps. Coat cleaned prawn pieces well with batter and deep fry until  golden brown color.Finish frying and add it to the pan with the sauce. Toss well to coat prawn completely with the sauce. Decorate with cut green onions.Serve hot
