POTATO SNOW PEAS MEZHUKUPURATTI



INGREDIENTS

Potato - 2 medium
Onion - 1 medium
Snow peas - 2 cups 
Green chillies - 2
Turmeric powder - pinch
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste


METHOD

Peel potato and onion cut them in to small cubes,remove both the ends of snow peas and cut them in to small square pieces .Cover and cook potato, onion and snow peas in 1/4 cup water by adding a pinch of turmeric powder and salt .Do not over cook potatoes.Remove vegetables from heat.Heat another pan with oil, splutter mustard seeds .Add slit green chillies and boiled vegetables to the pan.Saute for 7-8 minutes.Serve hot.


NOTE:
(I prefer boiling vegetables first and then sauteing it in little oil as it absorbs less oil and is more healthy )
