Who doesn't like chocolate chip cookies?Just give me a glass of cold milk and some cocolate chip cookies i ll be more than happy
Makes - 16 cookies
Source - Cook book
All purpose flour - 1 3/4 cups
Unsalted butter - 4 1/2 oz
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Egg - 1 (lightly beaten at room temperature)
Milk - 1 tbsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Chocolate chips - 1 1/2 cup (u can add little less if u don't like lot of choc chips in your cookies)
Preheat oven to 180C/350F .Line baking tray with baking paper.Sift flour and baking powder in a bowl and keep aside.Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl with electric beaters till it is combined well and forms a creamy texture.Mix in vanilla extract and egg mixture,beating well.Add the milk and mix well.Fold the sifted flour and baking powder in to the butter and egg mixture .Finally stir in the chocolate chips.
scoop out the cookie mixture using a tablespoon and place it on the baking tray leaving atleast two inch between each cookie.Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly brown .Cool on wire rack.Serve with cold milk.
