INGREDIENTS
Raw papaya - 2 cups grated
Shallots - 4 - 5 chopped
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
urad dal - 1tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoons
Green chillies - 2 to 3
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Oil - as required
Salt - to taste
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds,once it pops add urad dal .Add green chillies, shallots and grated papaya.To this add turmeric powder and salt,mix well.Cover and cook till papaya is soft and cooked ,stir in between so that it does not get burned.Add coconut stir well ,cover and cook for 1 more minute.Serve with rice.
