ONION CHILLY CHUTNEY


INGREDIENTS

Onion - 1 
Kashmiri chilly powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Urad dal - 1/4 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 1 stalk
Salt - to taste
Oil -1/ 2 to 1 tablespoon


METHOD
  1. Grind onion and chilly powder coarsely in a mixer. Keep aside.
  2.  Heat oil in a pan splutter mustard seeds and urad dal. 
  3. Add curry leaf and the ground onion paste. Add salt to taste. 
  4. Saute this mixture in medium flame till oil separates. Serve with idli or dosa.
