Making ahead freezer meals are a life saver at my home. It comes in handy on those days when you are really busy to find time to cook dinner for your family . Instead of going to a fast food place or eating unhealthy stuff outside you can make this tasty dish at home  in few minutes. This is a very easy recipe which can be made in batches to store in freezer and used when necessary.


Ground chicken breast - 1 pound
Onion - 1 small ,chopped finely
Garlic finely chopped - 1/2 teaspoon
Celery  - 1 stalk finely chopped (optional )
Coriander leaf - 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped
Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon or more according to taste (optional)
Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
Olive oil - for frying
Burger buns
Lettuce , Tomato ,Mayonnaise and ketchup for serving


Clean chicken breast by removing skin and bone. Grind it in a food processor. In a bowl mix ground chicken, coriander leaves, pepper powder , chilly flakes, garlic and onion.Now add 2 to 3 tablespoons of bread crumb to this. Mix everything well. Add salt according to taste. Form the mixture in to patties. 
Put the leftover bread crumbs in to a plate. Coat the patty with bread crumb on both sides. 
Heat a pan with 2 table spoons of olive oil, Cook the patties turning both sides until golden brown.
Place the patty on hamburger bun ,top it with your favorite veggies and Sauces ,Serve with chips or fries. 

For Freezing

Make the patties but avoid coating with bread crumbs. Line a cookie pan with parchment paper or silver foil, Place the patties on the sheet and freeze till its hard. Take the patties and store it in a ziplock bag or freezer container for about 3 to 4 months. When you want to make the burger, keep it in fridge over night then when you are ready to cook coat it with bread crumbs and fry.
