Rava - 1 cup roasted
Mixed vegetables [ Carrot, Peas, Beans, Corn ] - 1/2 cup
Green chilli - 1 to 2
Ginger  - 1 teaspoon, finely chopped
Mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoons
Urad dal - 1/4 teaspoons
Channa dal - 1/4 teaspoon
Onion - 1 small finely chopped
Oil /ghee - 2 tablespoons 
Water - 2 1/2 cups
Salt to taste


Heat pan , add rava and dry roast them by stirring continuously on low flame , do not brown the rava. Once its roasted keep aside in a plate . Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, once oil is hot add mustard seeds, wait for it to splutter. Now add urad dal and channa dal fry till they become light golden brown. Put green chilli, ginger and chopped onions. Saute till onions become translucent.  Add mixed vegetables and salt  to this fry till they get 3/4 th cooked. Now add 2 1/2 cups of water to this, increase flame to high and  bring water to a boil. check salt. once water comes to a rolling boil reduce the flame to low and add roasted rava liittle by little stirring in between. make sure you stir well while mixing so that lumps are not formed. cover and cook on low flame till it reache the required consistency. Serve hot with chutney.
