COCONUT CHUTNEY


Ingredients

Grated coconut - 1 cup
Roasted chickpeas / Pottukadala - 1/3 cup
Green chilli - 2
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece

Salt 
water

For Temper

Mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Dry red chilli - 1 or 2
Urad dal - 1/4 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 1 stalk
oil - 2 teaspoon

Method

Grind coconut , pottukadala, green chilli, ginger,salt with water to a smooth paste. In a pan heat oil splutter mustard seed and urad dal , add red chilli, curry leaves and fry. Pour this on the chutney.
