KOZHUKATTA


INGREDIENTS
Rice flour -1 cup
Jaggery - 1 cup grated
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1/2 tsp
Cardamom - 2
Water
Salt

METHOD
Melt jaggery with 1/4 cup water and strain it.Add coconut,ghee and cardamom to the jaggery mix and cook till liquid gets completely dried.Boil 1 cup of water with salt to this add rice flour little by little.Mix well until smooth dough is formed. Consistency should be such that the dough does not stick to your hand. Keep dough aside to cool little.Make small round balls.Take dough balls one by one place it on your palm press it .Fold the ends to make small cup shapes ,fill each of these with 1 tsp jaggery mix .Roll it back to ball shape.Steam these kozhukatta's in cooker till done.
