INGREDIENTS
Banana (Palayamkodan) - 2
Raw rice flour - 1 cup
Jaggery - 1/2 cup grated
cardamom - 3 (crushed)
Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Sliced coconut (Thenga kothu)
Ghee - 1 tsp
Water -1/4 cup
Oil for frying
METHOD
Mash banana in to fine paste.In a small pan heat ghee add sesame seeds and sliced coconut pieces,fry till light golden brown color.Melt jaggery in 1/4 cup water .Remove from flame and cool it .Add rice flour,mashed banana ,cardamom crushed,fried sesame seeds and slices coconut pieces along with the ghee used to fry . Mix everything together .keep it aside for half an hour.Pour batter in to oil in shape of unniyappam and deep fry.
